We would like to express our sincere thanks for all the kind words and public support that we have received from the community. Unfortunately, on January 3, 2017 the city council voted to authorize the use of eminent domain to obtain our property along the proposed Lakeview Parkway. This new road will bisect our corn maze and make it impossible to hold the McCoard’s Provo Corn Maze on our property as we have in the past. We will lose some of our parking and may have issues with construction, but our greenhouses and retail center will be open as usual this coming season.

We are still holding out hope that the city will continue to negotiate with us in good faith, and that with some luck we can find a solution that will allow us to continue our corn maze this coming year (in 2018).
